Karen Amery

Karen has 20 years’ experience working for building material manufacturers supplying the construction industry. Architects, engineers and building specialists regularly seek her technical advice to enable their design and sustainability objectives. By providing specific expertise in construction solutions to ensure that structures reach their intended design life and at each stage of the project life cycle from new to refurbishment. Karen has a track record working a diverse range of local projects including multi-residential buildings, aggressive industrial environments and all the way through to 100+ year design life for public infrastructure. After becoming Green Star Associate in 2009, Karen developed and delivered professional development technical seminars to educate design professionals on applying specialist solutions for waterproofing, concrete repair and corrosion management. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons), Master of Business and Commerce (Dist) and has a passion for ongoing learning.
